Rosella Rainbow was created as part of the Brisbane City Council Artforce Project. This artwork is located in the Northern Brisbane suburb of Grange, Cnr Raymont Rd and Grange Rd.
Inspired by the 2020 Bird Count Australia, pale headed Rosellas are sighted in this area. This installation was inspired by these beautiful birds and contrasting with the abundant grevillias flowering nearby.
I am a Brisbane based Artist inspired by flora, fauna and the Australian landscape. My style combines bright and colourful paintings designed to be eye catching and uplifting with a special interest in large scale work. Each artwork I create is developed with a specific narrative suitable to the brief and surrounding areas.
Originally from Northern Ireland where I studied Fine Art specialising in printmaking, I have called Australia home for 15 years.
As a frontline healthcare professional, I am passionate about the healing connection of Art to improve mental health and well-being. I welcome opportunities to collaborate with communities and Councils to add value to commercial and residential areas.
Recent projects with Brisbane City Council include a series of traffic signal boxes in Brisbane and awarded best Energex Box 2018 with Urban Smart Projects.
