Roctopus
The Roctopus is painted at the Anchor Motel in Surfside, Texas.
I painted it for a friend when he was the property manager of the motel. He wanted an octopus since they’re on the beach. The anchor was for the motel. And the drums were included because he’s a ceremonial drummer and it’s a major part of his life.
It’s about 8 feet wide and 8 feet tall. It took maybe 2-3 days to paint

Every brushstroke is an exploration, a meditation, and an offering—an invitation to see the world through new eyes.
