Arjuna Suvaraj K R is a Bengaluru-based artist who has been refining his craft since 2015, specializing in realistic acrylic paintings on both large and small canvases. Beyond acrylics, his technical expertise extends to color pencils, charcoal, and graphite mediums. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) at Kannada University, Kalaburagi, Arjuna is part of the N.S. Kumar Art Academy in Bengaluru. His foundational training includes studying under the renowned portrait master Ismail Azzam in Qatar, an experience that deeply shaped his approach to realism. Driven by a passion to build a long-term career in the fine arts, Arjuna has established a notable international footprint. During his time in Qatar, he participated in major competitive platforms, including the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF), the Qatar Horse Festival, and the Qatar Boat Festival. His work has earned distinguished honors, such as the QIAF Emerging Young Artist award and recognition for his saddle painting at the Qatar Horse Festival. He also gained widespread acclaim through a solo exhibition in Qatar, which drew over 300 visitors across five days, including key government dignitaries. To date, Arjuna has produced more than 150 acrylic artworks spanning original creations, commissioned pieces, and recreational studies.
