A boy from Lynn’s YMCA wearing a hometown sports jersey is illuminated by a colourful background from a textile pattern. The pattern echoes a cultural connection and new friendship the children in Lynn have forged with a group of children across the planet in Mutua, Mozambique. Human communication travels at unprecedented speed in today’s world. Ideas and culture can be shared, sent, and returned. With this idea in mind, kids in Lynn, Massachusetts, USA have been connecting with kids in Matua, Sofala, and Mozambique through video correspondence.
