Rescued by Become More in Lee's Summit

"Rescued" was commissioned by Nasty Glass in Knob Noster, MO in 2021. This mural represents the power of love to pull you out of darkness. There are dark clouds with a light shining through them. The caricature in the center has many arms reaching into the darkness and pulling creatures representing souls from the grip of creatures representing demons, even pulling one out the the belly of the beast. The leaf(arms) also reach out to the largest of these demons and you can see that they begin to change and become light themself representing the power of love to heal even the most damaged of us. There are also light colored creatures in the background representing a spiritual family behind the scene rooting for us and helping us along. The two upper arms(leafs) are reaching towards the light giving thanks! This piece was painted on textured corrugated panels using a mix of spray paint, acrylic, and latex paints.
