This was from a maternity shoot that I shot in California with a breast cancer survivor. This reminds me of "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli. Venus represents love, beauty, and feminity and giving birth is the one of the strongest portrayal of all 3.

Hi there! I'm a passionate photographer, videographer and filmmaker from Oakland California, currently based in Brooklyn, NY with a focus on portrait, fashion, and event photography. I was introduced to photography while attending Oakland School for the Arts during my formative years and graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Art History, Photography & Africana Studies. I love that photography and image making is a bridge-maker to all sides of humanity, something that we need now more than ever :-)
