Grace and Christine Masilo (born 2 July 1995) are 27 year old identical female twin sisters from Johannesburg, South Africa, who started sketching at the age of 10. They are self-taught artists and creatives who go by the name GratineTwins/Gratine; a combination of both names as one. Gratine's work spans from sketch portraits, digital designs, and information design, with educational backgrounds in Human Resources, Business Management, and Blockchain Fundamentals. Which is only fitting to say that conceptualising comes as second nature to them, which is where their natural passion for both the corporate and creative world stem from. In 2014 they discovered the power of social media, through which they gained themselves recognition from know figures from the likes of Tyra Banks, Pearl Thusi, Masechaba Ndlovu, Cassper Nyovest and Nandi Madida to name a few. Turning 21, Gratine joined After School Art Project in Soweto. As Creative Facilitators, it helped them gain exposure through: • Interview with The Star newspaper • Feature in LI8 Media House ad for The Innovation Hub in Soweto • Interview with The Homeless Talk newspaper. At 27, they have had one of their NFT artwork from their first NFT collection featured at NFTNYC at Artist Village, North Javits, Hudson Yards, New York City in April 2023. What makes them so unique is that with fine detail and strokes of shades, they merge their skills to create one complete masterpiece; one completes the other.
