Damian’s interest lies in presenting the human and animal form, capturing the subject’s characteristics and emotions. He has a fascination with the unfinished surface of the paint and the marks he cannot control. His work combines detail and abstraction developing narratives in the images he creates. Oil is Damian’s preferred media, providing him with the ability to create texture and expressive marks. Damian has exhibited on several occasions, most recently presenting at the Aviva Investors Manchester Art Fair, United Kingdom.
