Meet the Artist
Mumbai, IndiaI am Imsupong Sanglir, a self-taught artist from Nagaland India. Working
Primarily with charcoal, and occasionally acrylics, my practice moves
between realism and abstraction.
From the Hills is an ongoing series through which I translate personal
emotion, lived experience, and the layered history of the Naga people.
Each work draws from memory, landscape, and identity—echoing the
spirit and cultural legacy of the hills that shaped me
