I am a self-taught artist. I have been doing art since I was a child but have been reluctant to call myself a professional artist. I love painting portraits. Oil paint was my first love but have been flirting with watercolors as well. I remember when I got my first watercolor tube set as a present, I was only six years old and I didn't know anything about mediums or styles. So, I was inspired by oil paintings but I had watercolors so I painted an elaborate scene in nature which included a waterfall and a deer with thick straight-out-of-the-tube paint. It was much later that I found out this is not how watercolors are supposed to be used :P and what I really need where oil paint. Since the age of fifteen, I have been painting in oils. Recently, however, I discovered Procreate and have been loving it so far. I believe my digital art will not be like traditional portraiture and I will use it only for illustrations. So, the catch is that I can do pencil sketches, watercolor illustrations, Oil Portraits, and digital illustrations( in Procreate)
