Portrait II
A client commissioned this big size portrait for their family gallery. It was made in oil on canvas and took a little bit of time, as the oils need to dry layer by layer. But in a month we had this piece of art completed and ready to go. It was unframed because the client wanted to order a special frame, consistent with other family portraits.
Meet the Artist
Aylesbury, United KingdomI am UK based artist.
My professional path began at the age of 15 at the Fine Art College in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, where I studied from 1975 to 1980.
I completed my Master's degree in Fine Art at the National Art Academy in Sofia from 1982 to 1988.
Until 1999, I lived and worked in Sofia, Bulgaria. During this period, as a freelance artist, I presented a series of works in galleries across the country and participated in national exhibitions. One of my paintings is now part of the collection at the National Fine Arts Gallery in Sofia.
From 2000 to 2002, I resided and worked in Budapest, Hungary, and from 2002 to 2003, I moved to Zagreb, Croatia.
Since September 2003, my family and I have been living in Aylesbury, UK.
Throughout my career, I have had numerous solo shows:

I also directly sell my work to private collectors.
