POPpy Culture
Inspired by the natural elegance of poppies, the composition creates a striking visual moment that draws attention while still feeling balanced and intentional. This poppy mural was designed to bring a bold, modern floral aesthetic to the space using layered color, organic movement, and high-contrast detail. This mural was created for an 800 square foot commercial space.
Meet the Artist
San Antonio, United StatesMy work explores the intersection of emotion, identity, and visual communication through bold graphic forms and contemporary illustration techniques. Inspired by street art, vector illustration, pop culture, and muralism, I use layered color, contrast, and stylized composition to create artwork that feels both playful and emotionally charged.
I’m drawn to imagery that feels iconic and expressive—lips, figures, flowing movement, symbolic objects, and exaggerated forms that communicate emotion beyond words. Many of my pieces exist in the space between softness and strength, combining vibrant visual energy with themes of transformation, vulnerability, confidence, and self-expression.
Coming from a mural background, I naturally think about artwork in relation to space and human interaction. Whether I’m painting on canvas or walls, I want the work to create an experience—something immersive that shifts the atmosphere of an environment and invites connection. Scale, movement, and contrast all play an important role in how I build compositions and guide attention throughout a piece.
At its core, my practice is about creating visually impactful work that encourages feeling, curiosity, and engagement while blurring the line between fine art, public art, and contemporary design.
