Pippbrook Mural 2016 by Nightways in England
Pippbrook Mural 2016
This piece was created to beautify the temporary hoardings next to The
Pippbrook House in Dorking, Surrey. It is currently on display in Dorking
train station. I provided the council a digital version of the design before
installation. The piece was completed in week on a part time schedule.
When planning and designing the piece I considered the surrounding area
finding links to nature, architecture, and the cockerel being the symbol of
the town.
Meet the Artist
England, United KingdomI am a East London based artist. Recently moved.over from Bristol. I have been painting walls for about 15 years starting as a teenager and I have been commissioned multiple times privately and commercially. I mostly use spray paint but also use brushes some times. I also work as a secondary school art teacher so have a vast knowledge in different types of artwork. I have been developing my own style over many years and you can see a clear progression on my website and social media pages. Most recently my process of working is digital collaging images and then creating painting from these. I have found I work well to briefs as well as going off my own ideas. Thanks for your Interest and I look forward to working with you.
