Picturesque Dagro Village by Annesha in Phoenix

I grew up in picturesque Shillong, in the North East of India. From my childhood, I was always very passionate about different kinds of the artform. The abundance of natural beauty in and around Shillong and my passion were greatly responsible for pushing me to choose painting as a profession. Life's journey took me through different paths, at times, away from where my heart belonged. At such times I may have forgotten art and left it but art never left me. It was always there deep inside of me and kept chasing me relentlessly until I responded to its beckoning by getting back to my long-lost passion. I am into oil painting on canvas and I enjoy creating Realistic Art. My genre includes landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, flowers, animals and bird portraits and other miscellaneous images. I also love Mandala Art and when I am not painting, I doodle away. At present, I live in Phoenix, Arizona USA, where my husband works. Without the immense support and encouragement that I receive from my family, it would not have been possible for me to pursue my dream of becoming an artist.
