Pans Labrynth Faun Study by Ewey in Wellington

I remember seeing this when I was young, I was as oddly drawn to the gothic fantasy themes, I was also somewhat off-put by it. The creature designs in this movie, as with most of Guillermo Del Toro's films are fantastic. His team seems to find this awesome balance between the wonderful and the uncanny. I think the Fauns design is a good example of that touchy balance between mischievousness and beauty, but also to me he's quite an intimidating fellow who doesn't seem entirely trustworthy.
