I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Palace Skateboards on a bespoke mosaic skateboard, commissioned as a tribute to one of their co-founders in honor of their dedication to the brand. Drawing inspiration from Palace’s iconic font and color palette, I crafted a design that captured the essence of their style while adding a deeply personal touch. To reflect the co-founder’s love of boxing, I incorporated a meticulously detailed pair of hanging boxing gloves into the mosaic. Using 1x1cm tiles allowed me to integrate fine details seamlessly, including their name, ensuring every element of the design was both precise and impactful. The use of translucent epoxy grout enhanced the vibrant colors and created a polished, flawless finish, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece that honors their legacy with style and personality.
