This was the first painting I created after I finished Uni. I saw this piece of earth on a plynth and I took a photograph. Amazingly, the camera quality was quite good in 2013! I thought it was so appropriate of where I lived, London. Everything was so chaotic, busy, and overwhelming, but within that chaos, there was beauty. I loved learning about this piece through painting. Seeing nature in a totally different way that I never had before. Since then, my love for gardening and plants has grown and I cherish this painting dearly.
