I'm a visual artist born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, based in the Vancouver suburb of Port Moody, in BC. A deeply curious artist, I'm inspired by everything, and my practice is always evolving. A constant thread in my work is my bold and enthusiastic use of colour. My palette is both a nod to my Mexican heritage, and a reflection of the joy and gratitude I feel in my practice.
Over the last few years, my work has caught the attention of global brands, leading to collaborations with companies like Dr. Martens, Lego, Warby Parker, The New York Times and M&M’s, along with organizations like Human Rights Campaign, and the United Nations.
I believe that art has the power to connect people, transcend cultural barriers and convey universal emotions. In an often chaotic world, on my canvas I’ve found a reprieve. Bold colours and soothing shapes harmonize in balance, creating compositions that are greater than the sum of their parts. In each piece, I invite the viewer to pause, delight, and let the dopamine flow!
