Old Western Criminal
This is one of the many character creation of an old western criminal thought to have been in a few too many fights with a broken jaw, crooked eyebrow and crazy hair. The portrait is a 20"x36" sepia charcoal on paper.
Meet the Artist
Dallas, United StatesHeda was trained in classical design and she paints in the techniques of the Italian Old Masters. Each painting is painted with heirloom quality materials in both oils and pastels.
Her inspiration comes from the person or subject of the painting. Her passion is to capture the person in that moment of time as a memory to keep forever. She focuses on capturing a person's likeness and their essence (twinkle in their eye).
Heda's journey in art has a wide range of subjects and media types (from landscapes, still lifes, animation and portraits). She studied Animation in her Master's studies with an emphasis on character development.
