This mural was created for a newly built office space in Salford, designed to bring personality and energy to an otherwise blank interior.
Commissioned by Hive Land & Planning, the brief was to develop a design that reflected their bespoke ideas and references while maintaining a clean, cohesive colour palette. The final piece weaves together a series of visual elements that celebrate Salford’s culture, with a particular focus on its rich musical heritage.
The result is a bold yet balanced mural that adds character to the workspace while telling a story that feels personal to the team and their connection to the area.

Manchester, United KingdomHi, I’m Emily, the artist behind Lobster House Studios.
Since 2019, I’ve been creating vibrant, hand-painted artwork across a wide range of surfaces, from windows and walls to signage and vehicles. I love transforming spaces with colour and character, whether it’s a large-scale mural or a smaller bespoke piece.
Alongside my commissioned work, I also deliver creative workshops in schools, community centres, and workplaces. My sessions are designed to be inclusive, engaging, and accessible for all ages and abilities, making creativity something everyone can enjoy and feel a part of!
My style is clean, bright, and full of whimsy, with a focus on bringing ideas to life in a way that feels both playful and polished.
