Ocean sunset
Sunrises and sunsets are some of my favorite themes to paint. Especially over an ocean. It’s one of my happy places.
I like the vast empty horizon of the ocean. The open air and open possibilities give me a sense of joy and hope. There’s also scientific research that a broad, unfocused gaze can help regulate the nervous system and calm us.
