Ocean Nursery Wall Art by Taryn Johnson in Somerville

This was a custom design for an ocean-themed nursery! After working together with the client to determine the theme and color palette, I put together some sketches. After approval, I illustrated ocean animals and some design elements to be printed on removal vinyl wall decals. The designs included a beluga, orca, harbor seal, various corals and starfish. I also included a large section of the wall that had waves and a detailed wall decal with the child's name. As this was a local project, I assisted with the installation of the piece. All visual elements are printed on removal vinyl - they adhere to the wall and appear as a mural, but easy to remove when the child is older!
