Oasis – Queen of Desert by Elena NL in Gatineau

I'm working in variety of mediums: oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastels, mixed-media, sketching etc. With traditional academic background, I'm enjoying creating my own new world with art tools available. Although I'm proficient in many mediums, for my own art I prefer oil as it's slow and very deep medium. For commissions, I'm normally painting in acrylic or watercolours as well as do sketching. I love illustrating books and other ideas. To create illustrations I usually use watercolours and then add elements in mixed media and collage techniques. Then, I use digital tools to prepare a picture for publishing, adding more elements and final touch.
