Northern Nature
This mural was painted on the gable end of a row of terrace houses in an inner city location . A recently demolished house led to the use of the space/site as a children's play area. The idea of using bright colours and an uplifting nature theme came from the need to counter the overwhelming depredation and dull local environment.
Meet the Artist
Dublin, IrelandI enjoy creating large outdoor/indoor artworks to be seen by the widest possible audience. Outdoor locations include gable ends of buildings, hordings, fences and indoor sites such as lobbies, stairwells , hallways, bowling allies and shopping malls just some of the great locations I have painted in past projects. I enjoy the social experience of painting in a public space as well, either from facilitating groups of all ages & abilities to paint mural art or when working alone, the comments of passers by, it's all part of the creative fun experience.
