Charlie is not only an exceptional artist, he is very accommodating and absolutely nailed the brief, we couldn't be happier with the end result, a rock scene of AC DC. Still needs a final clear coat and signature so will post a pic then. Thanks Charlie AWESOME job

It's unlikely there is enough space here to convey how truly grateful we are to Charlie and the iconic work he has put up on our wall at Core Climbing. It was a pleasure from the outset to work with Charlie who was willing to edit and tweak the designs continuously until we ended up with a piece of work that will be a Gold Coast icon. About
A sydney-based artist whose artworks are bold, playful, and colorful. Growing up in a creative household in northwest NSW and studying graphic design in Canberra, He is strongly inspired by music, movies, and pop culture. His works have a strong use of color and appropriate comic book characters for graphic effect; they’re vivid, engaging, and powerful. His process is concept driven and typically begins with working by hand before being completed digitally. As he says, ‘I’ll usually just have an idea or see something that sparks a concept. I then sketch this out ’til I think it’s ready to either draw up onto an object or canvas, or I’ll scan it into my computer and start digitally sketching it up ’til I’m happy with it.’ An obsessive surfer, He would like to 'paint more murals and public art [as well as] get some bigger barrels!'. In the meantime, however, when he isn't creating artworks or illustrations he works as a screen printer, predominantly printing bold and graphic illustration and type work upon t-shirts.

Qualifications/Positions:

Formally trained in Graphic Design,   I offer a full range of digital illustration and design skills as well as being able to replicate a digital design with hand painting.
Is able to scale up a design without the help of projectors to give the user not only an authentic mural but gives the community and client a spectacle to watch and document instead of just tracing a image.
