Neon tribal by Odd Minds in New York

Erika Lopez is a mixed media artist and Queens native. For the past 3 years, she worked under the self-made brand ODD MINDS, utilizing flowing lines, abstract expressionism and bold application of color. While her style is consistent, every piece created by Erika invokes her free-flowing spirit. Erika began drawing at a young age. Growing up with selective mutism, she did not have the opportunity to express herself and was frequently anxious. When this feeling of isolation became heavy, school was torture. Drawing is where she found her voice and opportunity to heal. After high school, Odd Minds began experimenting with custom clothing, murals, and body painting. As she began growing, her services became an opportunity to connect with others.
