Neon Roses by null in East Rutherford

This set of 3 murals was created for Fearless. Fearless is a collaborative community and social space for and by women and non-binary folks in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I created these murals in 2018, for the inauguration of the space. Fearless is located in a historic building and boasts a unique architectural space (with pipes, radiators, and exposed brick across). The mural is located at the entryway that leads to the hallway, to a green door. So, I had to create something that fit the space, attracted the eye and led it down the hallway to the chartreuse door! Closest to the entryway are the neon roses with a bold black outline. Next are the tie-dye fairy wings, intended for people to take a picture with the wings behind them. The mural at the end of the hallway had to incorporate the neon green door, so I created ombre triangles around the door and on the adjacent wall. All three murals use the same color palette of vibrant, eye-catching colors with acrylic paint over the span of about 18 hours.
