Neon Hearts by Vane MG in London

Colombian artist and designer based in London, working across painting, street art, and digital illustration. Combining her Colombian heritage, toy design background, and signature Heart Eyes motif, she creates vivid, playful, and colourful worlds featuring realistic female portraits, bold neon tones, and the energy of London. Her work explores identity, cultural roots, and the connection to the inner child, blending elements of the past with the present to create joyful, contemporary imagery that is both accessible and emotionally resonant. She has collaborated with leading UK institutions including Kew Gardens, where she became the  rst artist in the world to paint inside its historic walls, and has also created artworks for Tate Modern and the Wellcome Collection. Her practice spans both public and gallery spaces, with murals, exhibitions, and institutional projects across the UK and internationally. In 2024, she was awarded Best Latin American Visual Artist in the UK by LA United, and in 2025 she is a Dubel Prize finalist, selected as one of nine artists for the final stage of the competition. Her practice is de ned by bright neon colours, Colombian in uences, heart symbols, and playful references to toy design, creating bold visual narratives that celebrate culture, imagination, and identity.
