Native companion by Spark Of Art in Stoke-on-Trent

Not like my usual detailed portraits, I like to experiment with abstract, using bits and bobs from screws to bubble wrap creating texture and shapes for a background to work my painting into, the warm colours of yellows/red/orange brings a welcoming vibe to this gorgeous dark horses. From inspiration of the native Indians with their companion horses they used paint to make marks on their horses, while that idea emerges with the marks I made from my small objects patched within my horse. Currently framed.
