Nap time
This was a commissioned piece using the description "otters holding hands (cute!)". The client absolutely loved this piece and revieves compliments regularly, so I hear! It was a joy to create their adorable personalities on the canvas. This painting is titled Nap Time because many otters will hold hands when taking a snooze on the water as to not drift away from one another.

Especially when the world experiences turmoil, I enjoy celebrating beauty within pain or within joy to keep hope alive. I love being able to portray a vision, dream or inner event through art! This abstract tendency has not stopped me from developing my skills related to natural images or people as I also enjoy working in realism. The satisfaction of creating eyes that speak volumes to the viewers is one of my favorite things about what I do.
