Nap time
Did you know bees take naps on top of flowers? I didn't know it either, so when I saw a cute picture of this bee, I know I had to make my own illustration about it. So, I painted it with gouache and then edited it with Photoshop to get this lovely image.
Meet the Artist
Valencia, SpainI am an Argentinian artist based on the sunny coast of Spain. I draw and paint since I was a kid, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I decided to become an illustrator, so I studied for a few years and here I am.
I have developed a lovely personal style, filled with colours and details, with a focus on children illustration, but capable to adapt to a variety of subjects. I love to draw and paint, so the begining of my illustrations is always draft by hand on pencil and then I paint in watercolour or gouache, mixing also colour pencils, markers, ink or anything the image could need. After that, I work my magic in digital editing to add more details, textures and light. The result is simply charming.
Before this dream of mine was a reality, I studied Social Communication and Journalism. I believe this is asset that's good for my job as an illustrator, as it gives me the tools to understand complex ideas and reflect them on image in a more simple way.
