Nana's Birdhouse by LivMos in Kent

This is a custom acrylic piece that I created for my Nana as a final project in my Advanced Painting course. I included a lot of symbolism (the number of flowers representing each member of our family, the birds representing my Nana and her siblings, the word “calm” above the door which holds special meaning to my nana, etc.). I also used various images taken by myself and still life objects as inspiration for the sky, flowers and birdhouse. The frame of the canvas was built by me from lumber, I also stretched and primed the canvas. (I am willing to do the same for anyone for an additional charge).
