Myriam von Bacterium
A children's book that not only tackles the topic of bullying but also gives the readers a glimpse into the human body, gut health, and how our immunity works. Educational yet fun and told from the eyes of a little school-going bacteria!
Meet the Artist
New Delhi, IndiaHi,
I am an illustrator with over a decade of experience in the children's books and animation industry. I began my journey with storyboarding, which has given me a strong sense of composition, camera angles, and storytelling. I believe that every image should tell a story; this not only generates intrigue but also captures attention. This approach is especially effective in children's books, as they rely heavily on visuals to engage young readers.
I enjoy drawing in a cozy, dreamy style that reflects the imaginative essence of my work and resonates with children. This style is particularly well-suited for bedtime stories and is easy on the eyes. My illustrations are created digitally using Adobe Photoshop, although I always start with pencil sketches during the ideation process. I also value collaboration with authors to fully understand their vision and help bring it to life.
