Location: Billiard Room, Country House Year: 2018 Description: This mural was painted on the ceiling of the billiard room on the second floor of a country house. The goal was to create a sense of openness and freedom, transforming the ceiling into a vast sky. I depicted a stunning blue sky with subtle grayish tones blending with soft white clouds. Soaring gracefully through this airy expanse is a majestic eagle, its proud figure full of movement and elegance. The meticulously detailed feathers and other intricate features give the eagle an incredible realism, making it feel as though it could take flight at any moment. The play of light and shadow on the clouds adds depth to the scene, while the strength of the eagle contrasts beautifully with the softness of the clouds, creating a harmonious balance of power and lightness. This mural brings an airy atmosphere to the room, evoking the feeling of being under an open sky, where the grandeur of nature reigns. Process: Creating this ceiling mural was an exciting challenge, as working on the ceiling required a unique approach. I carefully detailed every element to capture the sky and the eagle as realistically as possible, focusing on everything from the texture of the clouds to the fine lines of the feathers. I also took into account the room’s lighting to ensure the mural would be appreciated from different angles and under various lighting conditions, enhancing the sense of life and dynamism in the scene. Outcome: The completed mural transformed the ceiling into a true masterpiece, bringing an atmosphere of majesty and freedom to the billiard room.
