Mural for pizzeria by Nikki T in London
Mural for pizzeria
This was a quick project for a pizzeria based in Vietnam.
I came up with a concept and design that would be suitable and fit into the space assigned for the mural.
I combined the 2 relevant flags, Vietnamese and Italian flags as to represent the location of the pizzeria and the type of cuisine served. In the middle of the design I have painted a 2D pizza slice to tie the design together, making it visually fitting for the restaurant.
Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomI am a multidisciplinary, visual artist with a wide range of skill and creative style. I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa but have been living abroad for over a decade. I am currently based in-between the United Kingdom and Vietnam with the flexibility to relocate.
I have a passion for drawing, painting, creating mixed media pieces and designing and creating mural art.
My art is a fusion of surrealism and fantasy, capturing elements of the unknown and mystical. I am passionate about painting realistic portraiture. I specialize in black and white portraits, contrasted with eye-catching patterns and brilliantly coloured backgrounds. I have an eye for intricate detail and really enjoy creating work that the viewer can get lost in.
I am a seasoned mural artist and have dedicated my time and skill to putting up a large-scale murals around Vietnam while travelling.
I have had the privilege of showcasing my work in several collective exhibitions as well as being signed to a gallery in Hanoi, Vietnam.
I am proud to have sold a few of my artworks as well as some tattoo designs, which also showcase my design skills.
I have created commissioned works of all kinds from bespoke paintings to illustrative designs for clients. I believe that my artistic skill paired with my ability to listen and visualize are strengths that allow me to execute a creative vision and bring a clients idea to fruition.
My objective is to transport the viewer as far away from the mundane as possible. My work is largely inspired by personal experiences and my own life journey. Seeing a project come to life fuels me, I get a great deal of satisfaction from the entire creative process but seeing an idea come to life gives me a rush that words could never express.
