Mural Commissioned for Netflix office in London, 2022 In 2022 Netflix opened new studios in central London and commissioned Matlakas to create his contemporary hieroglyphs for the VIP zone in the Netflix office. The artist was asked to paint icons for Netflix series in connection with his hieroglyphs. The artist invented a new type of hieroglyphs calling them:” contemporary hieroglyphs” that tell us about the risks we are talking about acting the way we do in our current society and through the eruption of our mistakes. The artist created his hieroglyphs mainly in his mural works as usual through the playful look of his work the artist has much more to say with retrospection and depth.
