Mural for a lost daughter by Marty in Sycamore
Mural for a lost daughter
This mural was created to honor a daughter of a client of mine who died in a tragic car accident. the client wanted her daughters room to feel like it was a heavenly scene in the clouds, something peaceful where she could come in her daughters room and remember her and realize that she is in a better place now in heaven. the mural goes from the main wall in the room and extends onto the ceiling.
Meet the Artist
Sycamore, United StatesMy name is Marty, I love painting on large canvases, doing mural work, live painting for events, printing woodblock print t shirts, going to craft fairs and any other way I can find to share my art with the world. My passion is for painting anything from large scale portraits, to abstract colorful paintings and everything in between. I graduated with a Bachelor in Fine arts from Bradley University back in 2012 where I studied painting, printmaking, and other fine art mediums and won multiple awards for both outstanding student in printmaking and outstanding student in painting. I've been in numerous shows, countless art fairs, painted for live events, conferences, and galas, taught classes, and have been a partner in trying to grow the art community in my local area.
