I am an illustrator with a love of all things playful, colourful and wiggly! I use the wiggly people I draw to communicate ideas and themes I care about. My aim is to use the human body in a way that everyone can relate to.
My work moves between illustration, mural art, workshop facilitation and community engagement. Common themes that run through my practice are: connection, community, equality and mental well-being.
Accessibility is really important to me. I am super passionate about creativity being for everyone. I want people to enjoy and connect to my work with whatever knowledge of art they have, it doesn't need to be super conceptual. I like to see my illustration as a tool to unpick bigger ideas and help people make sense of them. Through running workshops I gain a lot of joy from seeing people let go of their inhibitions around creativity and make things that are truly inspiring!
