Hi, it’s me, Rachelle, a Sunshine Coast based artist in love with oil painting, pastels and charcoal. I’ve been an artist since 2016 and started teaching at Art School Co. in 2019. Between rangling three littlies, I spend hours in my home studio, surrounded by canvases, art supplies, colour charts and inspiration blu-tacked across the walls. Every artwork is a series of small decisions coming together in a dance to form something unique and personal. I aim to capture feeling and story in my artworks. My style is quite realistic and I like to play with soft, lost edges with beautiful tight detail in the focal area, to draw the eye in and help tell the intended story.
