Mountain and Red Sky by MJ Giguere in Vancouver

I am a multi-talented artist skilled in drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture. I graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2008. I am a British Columbia artist and my inspiration comes from years spent in and around the forests and lakes of the coastal mountains of southwest B.C. My tree paintings read like artful studies of the forest’s trees and my landscapes capture the feeling of the region. My drawings, in contrast, combine imagination with realism, in playfully quaint scenes of forest creatures and plants. My drawings, paintings, sculpture, and photography have incredible attention to detail and brilliant use of colour. My art is displayed on the walls of Sunny Hill at Children's Hospital, as well as by many private collectors. I enjoy working with others to create the perfect work for their needs!
