Moth at the Lost and Found by null in Toronto

Moth at the Lost and Found

This 10 x 12 foot mural was painted at a hostel called the Lost and Found in the rainforest in Panama. I used oil paint on the cement wall, including painting the custom platform. I was comissioned by the owners to complete this mural during my travels in Central America. They wanted a mural specifically for guests to take photos in front of and with the plethora of Atlas moths present in the area, I took that as my main inspiration. I tweaked the colours to reflect my bright style. I included the words, "You belong here" on the wall where you stand, as well as on the cement where one would take the photo I painted the words, "And here". I also included some easter eggs in this mural that reflect the history of the hostel.
