Growing up on the East Coast, I find my inspiration from the shore. Obsessed with sun, salt and sea- I have always been fascinated with the way light plays with water. My work often explores that unique relationship, and features the movement and bright colors that are created when light refracts with the tides. The moments I capture balance somewhere between surrealism and reality, almost like a vivid memory. After my time working for surf companies, combining surfing and art has been a way of continuing the stoke when not in the ocean. By utilizing up-cycled marital like old surfboards and fins, my art also embodIes my passion for marine conservation while breathing a second life into these objects.
