This dog was a commission after it had passed away after many faithful years of service on a farm.
I really enjoyed capturing the light and adding purples and blues into the black fur.
I always pay great attention to the eyes - they are the window to the soul.
I hope my paintings invoke the realization to the viewer, of the soul of the creatures of which we share this planet.
