Modern Style Home-Private Commission Mural by Shane Grammer Arts` in Los Angeles

The mural was commissioned by a client who owns a modern-style home in Paradise, California. He expressed that he wanted something that was soft, elegant, and in monochromatic grays. Shane has an extensive collection of reference portraiture on file that exemplifies feminine beauty and grace, and is selective in finding images that evoke an emotional response. He knew the exact image he wanted to use, and quickly got to work building out the rest of the design with clusters of flowers that delicately flowed into one another. The mural took a total of three days to complete. The area was masked off to protect the room and paint fumes were eradicated from the home during the process by way of large shop fans positioned to blow them outside. When it was finished, the fourteen-foot tall mural stood in striking view as the premier focal point upon entry to the home. It was breathtaking, and the client agreed that it was more than he had hoped for.
