I am a Chicago-based fine artist and illustrator with a passion for technical detail and an eclectic sensibility. I've shown and sold my work for over a decade. All of my work, regardless of style, scale or medium, is anchored by a combination of realism and cartooning; unabashedly mixing bold, graphic mark-making, and even hand-lettered text, with realistic figures and scenes which literally break the confines of borders or panels. I've run artist workshops at the Chicago Public Library, created cartoons for the award winning F News Magazine, and shown in multiple institutions, including the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
