Miss Americana by Gráinne Greene in Galway

I am an illustrator working in both traditional and digital mediums, including drawing, painting, and procreate. I generally focus on realism whether my subject is imaginary or not. I have a great love of natural history illustration and am particularly inspired by Maria Sybilla Merian’s work. I am also drawn to more fantastical work like that of the Renaissance painters. I crave the flow state I can enter through the process of creating a piece, whether that’s a painting that I spend months on or a sketchbook page. I am an avid reader and enjoy illustrating stories as well as creating standalone pieces.
