Miguel Juarez Middle School
Portrait mural created for the students of Miguel Juarez Middle School in Waukegan, Illinois. This was part of the first outdoor mural series for the school in October of 2022.
I chose to depict the image of a young lady of Mexican origin due to the large Mexican American community. The model's physical features and appearance can also represent other indigenous cultures.
The bird in the photo is a hawk that is native to the area and is a symbol of nature, freedom and the ability to soare high.
Mural completed with Montana 94 spray paint.

Meet the Artist
Miami, United StatesVictor is a multidisciplinary artist from Miami, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida, New World School of the Arts with a BFA in Graphic Design.
From a young age Victor developed a passion for drawing and was inspired by his upbringing and numerous cultural references. Growing up in the city of Hialeah, Victor was immersed in latin family culture, the Hip-Hop culture, cartoons and video games, martial arts, and the the urban landscape which are just a few pivotal contributors to his body of work.
Victor has participated in many exhibitions, editorial publications and is currently a dedicated muralist with large scale works throughout South Florida. He specializes in photo realism and his work is an infusion of graffiti, illustration, fine art and graphic design.
