Mia's Bouquet by Daniel Ibrahim - Mural Artist in Sydney

This piece was painted as a private commission for a client. Initially conceptualised as a dedication to their newborn daughter to which it is named, the client provided me with full creative freedom to paint a design that complimented their garden wall. The monochromatic blacks, greys, and whites of the portrait contrast against the vibrant colours of the various breeds of orchids (the client's favourite flower), which are pushed to the foreground by the pop-art style background. As it matures, the young lemon tree in the foreground will grow and blend seamlessly into the flowers, which serves as a compliment to each feature by the other. This wall was painted using only Montana Gold and MTN 94 aerosols and stands at roughly 5 x 6 metres in size.
