Metaverse Oil on canvas "Metaverse" is a distorted view of identity in the digital age. The boundaries between human and artificial merge into a hybrid, almost liquid figure, who observes an unreal landscape with deep, double eyes. The face breaks up into swirls and curvatures that recall the flow of data and thoughts, while the marine and desert background suggests a timeless land, where reality is only a perceptual illusion. Saturated colours and dynamic forms build a continuous dialogue between inside and outside, between what is seen and what sees us. 'Metaverse' is a distorted mirror: it looks at us as we look at it.
