Merri Merri by Hoffy in Melbourne

My mural concept is a vibrant and colourful abstract expression of the community that come together to create a sense of well-being, fresh air and fun! The colour palette draws from the local bird life, insects and plants in the area such as the Blue-banded Bee, River bottlebrush, Growling Grass frog, Kingfisher and the Merri Creek. Stylised forms evoke a sense of play, balance and movement and are inspired by the local landscape, parklands, tracks and many activities that people of all ages and backgrounds come to the area to enjoy.
